What is 3d printing ?
3D printing (also known as additive manufacturing) is an advanced manufacturing technology that creates three-dimensional objects by layering materials based on computer-aided design (CAD) models. Unlike traditional subtractive manufacturing (such as milling and turning), which involves removing material to create a shape, 3D printing builds objects layer by layer. This enables the production of complex geometries, making it particularly advantageous for rapid prototyping, customized products, and small-batch production.
How does 3D printing work?
3D printing is an additive manufacturing process that builds three-dimensional objects by adding material layer by layer (such as plastic, metal, resin, etc.). First, a 3D model is designed using computer software, then the model is sliced into multiple thin layers. Finally, the 3D printer prints the object layer by layer based on this slice data.
